Hotel and Travel Arrangements

Our selected partner, Resecity i Huddinge AB, will be happy to be at your service when it comes to accommodation, travel, transfers and extended stays in connection with your participation at the Karolinska Stroke Update.

Travel

As an appointed IATA agent, Resecity has the possibility to offer you competitive prices for return travel from your point of origin to Stockholm. Upon receiving your registration you will be contacted by Resecity, who will offer you available flights on both scheduled airlines and low cost carriers, to suit your requirements.

Accommodation

For your convenience, Resecity has secured a number of rooms, at specially negotiated rates, at our conference venue the Clarion Sign Hotel. Read more about the hotel.

Resecity also has the possibility to book accommodation for you in one of the budget hotels with whom we have special prices. If you have a special request for an alternative hotel, please contact Resecity and they will quote their most competitive rates.

Prices for hotel accommodation are quoted during the registration process.

Transfers

Arlanda Express
The Arlanda Express is the recommended transportation to/from the airport. It leaves from every terminal and arrives around the corner from our meeting venue.
Trains leave Arlanda Airport approximately every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends. The journey to Stockholm takes 20 minutes. You can check the timetable at www.arlandaexpress.com.

Pre-booked pick-up service
It is also possible to pre-book a pick-up service on our registration site. You will be picked up at the airport by the driver on entering the arrival lounge, just after customs. For your return trip you will be picked up at your hotel. The cost is 55 EUR for each direction.

Bus
Flygbussarna leave from Arlanda Airport every 10-15 minutes for the City Terminal in central Stockholm. The bus journey takes 40 minutes and costs 99 SEK (~11 EUR) one way or 198 SEK (~21 EUR) for a return ticket.
